There are numerous ways in which you can take action to help:

1.  Encourage your children's teachers to incorporate environment-based learning into their curricula. PWGreen is a resource available to interested teachers and can assist them in developing these programs. The school-owned Guggenheim property provides an excellent site for the following activities:

  • Mapping and orienteering
  • Study of micro-habitats
  • Identification of flora
  • Bird watching
  • Soil testing
  • Temperature studies
  • Insect study
  • Food chain
  • Study of seeds

2.  Participate in our events and projects.

3.  Communicate our projects and events to your friends and neighbors.

4.  Donate to PWGeen to help us help you save the last remaining open spaces on the Port Washington peninsula.  You can fill out this form and send it with your check.
